Broadening Arpeco's internationally recognised Tracker series, the new range of machines incorporate servo drives, AVT vision systems, colour touchscreen control interfaces and Gallus networking capability.
Amongst the equipment featured at Labelexpo Chicago was a Tracker Premier networked to a Gallus printing press. This facilitated automatic editing with fault markers produced directly by an AVT web inspection system on the Gallus press.
Without requiring the operator to manually detect faults, the electronic pre-flagging system enables the Premier to run at higher production speeds. The Tracker Premier also incorporated servo drive technology, streamlining the machines internal operation and enabling greater precision and control.
