STM43 Duplex Slitter Rewinder

The Bimec STM/43 Slitter Rewinder is a machine with two-spindle centre rewind. This format has become the universal standard for general purpose slitter rewinders. Features include:

• High mechanical strength providing vibration-free production at high speeds.
• Either shafted or shaftless unwind. Automatic unwind tension control standard.
• Hydraulic unwind roll loading standard.
• Automatic line and edge guide optional.
• Razor blade slitting over grooved support roll standard, rotary shear knife slitting optional.
• Computerised touchscreen control system incorporating programmable rewind tension, metre counter and roll diameter standard.
• Pivot-mounted control panel.
• Integrated, machine mounted rewind unloading device featuring a fixed post and swing-out horizontal arms (not pictured).

The STM/43 is characterised by the single face design, with the unwind roll and finished rolls on the same side. This allows the operator to easily monitor the unwind/rewind process.
