Miniflex: Motorised Print Units

Miniflex printing units are suitable for printing moving film or laminates (substrates). They use liquid ink and a direct flexographic print procedure in which the rubber type characters come into direct contact with the substrate.

Motorised units are powered by means of a shunted self-contained or electric mechanical drive, used when it is not possible to press onto substrate, usually used on medium or larger machines.

	Miniflex 377/250 Max. printing width: 250 mm Min. printing length: 500 mm Max. printing length: 630 mm Max. printing speed: 150 m/min Normally produced in passive version, but designed to accept an electric drive on both sides. Only one horizontal position available. Horizontal movement on guides with two pneumatic cylinders to make contact with the substrate (film). Transversal horizontal movement to move the machine on two round stainless steel bars (bars not included). Features an ink reservoir that can be easily removed for cleaning, roll ink feeding by means of pneumatic pump, pneumatic micro-cylinders to protect the rubber roll, and mechanical stops to regulate the printing pressure. Two different types of drives available (tracking type or synchronized type).

Designed to mount two interchangeable printing rolls (only one provided with machine). Features exclusively pneumatic operation, pantograph device driven by two pneumatic cylinders, roll ink feeding with direct suction from container by pneumatic pump, and mechanical stops to regulate the printing pressure. Since this machine is normally produced in a passive version, there is no provision for fitting a drive. Machine normally includes pneumatic control logic, pneumatic pump, ink container or reservoir and 3+3 metre rubber connecting hoses.
